Homeschooling
Heart for Homeschooling is a local Richardson co-op and support group that offers once-a-month enrichment classes and mom support.
Co-op classes are offered at Woodcreek Church from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., one Friday each month from September to May.
These co-op enrichment classes are:
- for educational value
- not necessarily focused on core subjects
- to help our students gain a sense of accomplishment
- Really Enjoyable!
Group field trips are available as well.
Our moms’ support group meetings are held one Tuesday a month at a member’s home. For the 2009-2010 school year we will be discussing Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Ted Tripp. Any homeschooling mom is welcome to come, especially if some adult conversation is needed.
