Security

Security is a top priority at Woodcreek Church. We want our children and their families to be comfortable in coming to worship. We believe it is important to protect the things that are most precious to us, our children. We do background checks on all adult and youth volunteers who want to serve with children ages 0-12th grade. We go through the Volunteer Center of Dallas and use VerifyI for our background checks. All of our volunteers must be approved by our Executive Pastor and Kidcreek Director.

How the security procedure works

When you come to the Kidcreek area, you will proceed to a kiosk to obtain your child(ren)’s nametag and your parent tag. Someone will be there to greet you. Please allow one of our attendants to assist you in checking in. Once you have your tags, please place on the back of your child if they are ages 0-2 and on the front of your child if they are ages 3-5th grade. Please walk your child back to their classroom and connect with a leader. Let them know of any needs your child may have.

At the end of the service, please show your parent tag to gain access to Kidcreek. You will need to show your tag to your child’s teacher. They will match your numbers and release your child. If you have multiple children, please keep the tag for the next child.

NOTE:5th graders do not have to be checked out at the classroom. They need to make arrangements with their parents for a location to meet.

If you loose your parent tag, please go to the main Kidcreek kiosk to get another tag. There will be verification of your child’s attendance that day and that you are able to pick them up.

If have any questions about these procedures, please contact our Kidcreek Director.

Note to visitors

If you are coming to Woodcreek Church for the first time and you have children, you will see the Kidcreek sign hanging on the south wall as you come into the atrium. Please go through the main Kidcreek doors and there will be a set of kiosks in there for you to check in. We will have people there to help you with any questions you may have and get your children settled into the correct classroom. You will fill out a Guest Form so we can enter your family into our computer system. If you choose to visit again, you can go to the kiosks outside the Kidcreek area to check in. You can check your entire family in at any kiosk.
