These classes are designed to help your child start preparing for school. We want them to build relationships with the children in their class as they begin their journey through Kidcreek. We believe it is important for our children to maintain consistency in their classmates. These children will stay with the group they will begin Kindergarten with. If you are going to hold your child back due to a late birth date or for developmental reasons, please consider doing it in one of these age groups. It is an easier adjustment for them at this point rather than waiting until the friends they have been with are going to kindergarten or 1st grade.

We use Group Publishing’s Hands On Bible for these groups.

Classes

The Three’s class

Designed for children who have or will be 3 by September 1.

Pre-K

Designed for children who will turn 4 by September 1. This also includes those children who are 5, but are not entering Kindergarten.

Morning Schedule

The morning schedule is different for each class. We allow the teachers to determine what works best for their children. A typical morning will have opening activities as your child arrives, music worship, Bible story, prayer time, application activities and most always, a snack!

If your child has allergies, please remind the teacher when you drop them off. Upon occasion, your child will have a substitute that may not know about their needs. Any special needs is also indicated on their nametag.

What to Bring

If your child is potty training (we ask that they are at least potty training once they reach the Three’s), please bring a change of clothes or extra pull ups / diapers.

Your child may want to start bringing their Bibles to class. The teachers love to help them learn to use them, even if it is a story Bible. They can also bring an offering.  It will be taken up during their time of music worship.

Pick up

When you are ready to pick up your child, please bring your parent tag. It will have your child’s specific number (one for each child) and your four digit family number. You will be asked to show your tag to get into the Kidcreek area and again when you pick up your child from their classroom. If you loose your tag, please go to the kiosk at the main entrance of Kidcreek.
