Mission Trip 2010

Each year the Junior High Ministry takes a state side mission trip to enable our students to serve others outside our community and to grow in their faith. All current 6th-8th graders are eligible to apply for the mission trip. We have a parent/student meeting each year in September with information about the following summer’s trip. Mission Applications are then due in December. The mission team prepares for the trip with meetings, spiritual development, team building and fundraising throughout the spring. Thank you for praying for our team and trip as we go to minister to those on the Wind River Reservation in July of 2010.

Please turn in the two forms at the next meeting on Thursday, July 8.
You only need to bring one copy of each along with a copy of your health insurance policy/card.

A few weeks ago I sent Lauren’s paper to Youthworks! to see if it might be useful in this summer’s edition of “Reverb” magazine. They were super impressed with the story and wanted Lauren to write something new to fit their goal of encouraging students to continue to serve even after the trip.
