Mission Trip 2011

Each year the Junior High Ministry takes a state side mission trip to enable our students to serve others outside our community and to grow in their faith. All current 6th-8th graders are eligible to apply for the mission trip. Mission Applications are made available in mid September each year with a parent/student meeting and the applications are then due in mid December (check the date on the applications). Please be sure to read all of the info before applying. The mission team prepares for the trip with meetings, spiritual development, team building and fundraising throughout the spring.

Life on Mission

A few weeks ago I sent Lauren’s paper to Youthworks! to see if it might be useful in this summer’s edition of “Reverb” magazine. They were super impressed with the story and wanted Lauren to write something new to fit their goal of encouraging students to continue to serve even after the trip. She wrote another incredible article and is going to be published!! Click here to see Lauren’s pre-published article.
