Building the new “Vision City” church

The Church in Patna

After a long day of traveling from Trivandrum on the 26th, we finally arrived in Patna, Bihar to spend our last few days at the home of pastor E.A. Abraham. Pastor Abraham (now our fifth “Abraham” we have met this trip) is yet another influence for the Gospel here in India and is doing great things around the country, especially here in the state of Bihar.

IMG_5258

Serving as the director of Emanuel Mission Public School as well as overseeing countless other churches and ministries here in Patna, Abraham is a faithful visionary for the Gospel and understands the need to partner with other believers to ‘Reach the Unreached’ as he (and Dr. Verghes Thomas from New Delhi) would put it!

Our time here was short but we witnessed some amazing things during our stay here, the most exciting of which was a christmas party put on by the Pastor Abraham and the school. Only minutes through the very fun traffic, we arrived at what used to be a large field between buildings, but they had converted this space into a grand event ‘tent’ i guess you would call it!

IMG_5411

Surrounded by buildings, pastures, roads, and livestock our party preparations were in order and people began to arrive, including local politicians and other “VIP’s” that Abraham had invited to come speak and be a part of the celebrations (even though they were not all believers!). One of the big goals of this party was not only to share the gospel, but to educated the people living in the surrounding neighborhoods that there was a new church there, where they were welcome and encouraged to come and ask questions, or just to listen and pray. Many people here are open to hearing about the Gospel because it is so new to them, and Pastor Abraham wanted to organize this huge event to make sure that EVERYONE had heard the gospel at least once, and also knew where they could come with questions!

IMG_5535

In the end the party was a great success. I never received a good estimate of how many people were there (with numbers as wide as 400-1000, it was hard to get a good estimate) but i can tell you one thing, the ENTIRE surrounding neighborhood now knows that there is a church and christian school right next door that they are free and welcomed into by the local church and their Christian neighbors.

"What is Christmas all about?"

"What is Christmas all about?"

Photo of the Day: Christmas Day!

IMG_4724

Trivandrum, India

Christmas Day: A man on the street pausing to listen to the christmas party that was being held on the side of the road outside of Trivandrum in India.

Where Christmas Happened

As I am sure it was for you in The States, Christmas day was a flurry of activity here in India. Between the three christmas parties and running to the homes of six local pastors, I imagine it was much like your busy Christmas day back in America. Except for one thing:

I spent my Christmas in the Jungle.

IMG_5126

After we had gone to the other two parties in the morning, we got back in the car and headed about 20 miles North out of Trivandrum to the small neighborhood of Pastor Raju John.

This was a big event for pastor Raju who partnered with another church this year to hold a christmas party for their neighbors. Because there were no buildings large enough for everyone, nearly seventy-five people, they decided to hold the celebration in front of the pastor’s home.

IMG_5147

We have been to so many Christmas parties in so many places over the past two weeks but by far this was my favorite. Set back off the main roads surrounded by palm trees, banana plants and dense jungle in all directions I thought this a fitting place to spend my first christmas away from home.

IMG_5173

But it was more than just the unusual setting and the 90 degree heat, it was the beauty of the evening that captivated me.

IMG_5106

Once again, Oomen Mathews attended and helped arrange two musicians to play and sing throughout the program (these two men’s third appearance that i had seen this week). The evening was scattered with songs and readings by the children, stories and testimoneis by the adults and finally a cutting of the christmas cake which i have become accustomed to here in India (and i have had more christmas cake than i could ever dream!).

IMG_5096

Because many of the neighbors are Hindu, this evening was a great opportunity to share the gospel with them and to explain exactly what christmas is, and why Christ came!

After Norm had shared his testimony with everyone, something happened that we had not experienced yet since being here in Trivandrum. Brother Oomen Mathews decided to give his.

IMG_5173-2

Oomen stood up after translating for Norm and said that he wanted to share his story with the neighbors. Explaining how, when working on the plantation and raising in authority and status there, he had no regard for the Lord and was living very selfishly. He explained the struggle he faced with the idea of Jesus, especially in relation to Hinduism and how, finally, the Lord captured his heart and brought him into his loving arms.

It is stories like this that I think needed to be heard that night. Stories by men of power and influence who should have life figured out on their own. The ‘Self-Made’ men who come to the realization that they can not make it on their own anymore, desiring to have a relationship with Jesus instead. It was places like this, in the middle of the Jungle in Kerala where Christmas happened.

IMG_5191

Christmas in Kerala

IMG_4610

Oomen Mathews may have a lot going on, but whatever he does stems from his excitement and love for the Lord. At 76 years old, he loves to share and mentor other chruch leaders around the state of Kerala.

Recently he has stepped into the roll of the State Director for NeighborHope International here in Karala, but he has been heavily involved with NeighborHope and evangelistic christmas parties since 2004 when he attended one of the first NeighborHope conferences in India.

He has played the roll of our guide to the local “Christmas Party Scene” here in Trivandrum, including outside his home, which is currently under construction.

Oman wanted to use the opportunity of Christmas as a stepping stone to evangelizing the workers who have been building his new house. The Chief Mason on the project, Nazan, is a believer and knew that it would be a great opportunity to share the gospel with the other workers as well as the neighbors who live nearby.

IMG_4968

Nazan is no stranger to these Christmas parties either, first hearing about Christ at one that Oman held four years ago to share with his neighbors and new friend Nazan. At the time Nazan was in terrible health, with nearly his entire body covered in infected boils.

At the party at Oman’s house that year, Nazan heard about Jesus and the gospel message, but was still unsure as to if what he had heard was real and could be trusted. He wanted to pray to God but wasn’t quite sure if God was even there.

IMG_5029

Soon after the party, Nazan visited his doctor who said that his condition had progressed quite rapidly, giving him only six months to live. But the following morning, Nazan shared how he woke up and nearly 80% of the boils had already healed. “At that moment i knew that Jesus was real” he told Norm Wretlind, explaining how the Lord was talking to him through healing him physically.

IMG_5038

Four years later Nazan is here, in great health! He is partnering with Oman to share the gospel to the people of their neighborhood and the workers who are helping to build many of the houses. After sharing his testimony on Christmas morning here, he told everyone :

“There is no other way… Christ is the ONLY answer!”

Church Leaders in Kerala

Friday December, 23rd – Trivandurm, Kerala, India

One of the great things i have the opportunity to witness here is the ministry that goes on behind-the-scenes with Norm Wretlind and the local leaders in each State that we visit.  We have met so many great church leaders and pastors from around the country already, but today we had the opportunity to have lunch with a group of nine pastors and lay-leaders who are very involved with NeighborHope, among other great ministries. They have all been to many of the evangelism trainings put on by NeighborHope and are working to spread the Gospel to their neighbors through the use of christmas parties!

IMG_4577

“To me, the idea of evangelistic parties is such a new idea, and a wonderful one!” Pastor Raju John exclaimed! It was comments like these that made Norm come alive with passion for these men who are so deeply involved all over the state of Kerala.  This year Raju will host his first christmas party for his neighbors, in fact… he is planning Three!

These men are not all pastors, but they are al working together to encourage and minister to one another as the vision to reach their Hindu and Muslim neighbors continues to spread. This is at the core of NeighborHope. Its not about parties, nor massive crusades, but equipping local pastors, leaders and all believers to boldly and effectively share the gospel with those around them. And its this vision that is inspiring so many believers here in Kerala!

We will have the opportunity to attend many of these christmas parties here, including all three of the parties that Pastor Raju John is holding while we are here and i am excited to experience how the Lord is working!

Evangelism in Gujarat

Vapi – Gujarat

Its 6:00am in the small village of Vapi in Gujarat, Northwestern India. The sun is just now rising, not yet visable above the horizon. We awake to the voice of an Islamic priest in a small mosque down the street as he calls the local Muslims to prayer.

IMG_4090

As we sit up in the dark, listening, a conversation begins about the dichotomy of religious freedoms here in Northern India and the opportunities that may exist for the small group of Christians here.

As with much of Northern India, Gujarat is a non-conversion law state, meaning that it is illegal to convert anyone away from Hinduism, yet the Islamic prayers still echo in the calm morning mist with no interference by the government.

The conversation from last night still rings in my head. “If I were seen baptizing the new believers, they told me I would be thrown in prison for six years” brother Babu Abraham explains. “So we cover the windows and doors, and conduct our baptisms inside!” he says.

IMG_3921-2

No stranger to the violence agains Christians, pastor Babu Abraham has been attacked and beaten on three occasions, each time because he was preaching what he believed, that Jesus Christ is the savior and the only God. Yet in spite of all this, Babu has worked with NeighborHope to train over 1800 people this year  to hold christmas parties in their homes and around their villages all over the state of Gujarat.

IMG_4124

“I have used these Christmas parties to approach the local politicians and even some policemen to build relationships with them. Now they help us.”

In spite of all the trials that face Christians here in Gujarat, men like Babu are working to train the people here to share their faith without fear. They are partnering with NeighborHope to provide the training and support necessary to be evangelsts to their friends, family and neighbors. Knowing that whatever sufferings they may endure are considered Joy for the sake of the Kingdom!

IMG_4098

Meet Ajay

24 years old

Hometown: Hatol, India

I woke up this morning to something interesting and while it was still dark, i realized that it was time to head out and photograph (more on that in the next post!). But being in a strange small village in the middle of Northwestern India made it difficult to find my way around. I needed two things. A Guide, and a Ride. Specifically where to, i did not know but before the sun came up, Ajay was there to help. He donned his riding jacket and we rolled his motorcycle off the porch of the school here in Vapi and set off into the still dark morning.

IMG_3936

As we drove Ajay told me about his life, the past few years specifically had been very powerful and much had changed recently. From Baroda Hatol, he met a pastor about four years ago who invited him to a christmas party in their little town, wanting to share something with Ajay.  Eager to get to know the man, Ajay accepted the invitation and attended the small party.

IMG_4079

At this party, Ajay’s new friend told him about Christ and the salvation, freedom, and redemption that He came to offer us and over the next few months Ajay would listen and think about what was being said. About this time he was injured in a motorcycle accident which left him on bed-rest for almost three months. During this time he spent much of his time searching, praying and talking to the Lord. He began to realize that in spite of the accident, the Lord had protected him.

As I walked around the town with Ajay, he explained how the Lord captured his heart during that time of recovery and transformed his heart, and his life. He knew that he wanted to devote his life to serving the Lord, even if it meant giving up on his other dreams of going to the UK for school.

As soon as his leg had healed, Ajay came here to Vapi to the bible school that we are staying at, and spent two years studying the bible and devoting himself to prayer, fasting and service.

IMG_4050

Now Ajay is one of the teachers here at the Bethesda Bible Institute, teaching younger men and women about the amazing love that Christ offered on the cross, and helping pastor Babu Abraham to organize seven Christmas parties around this area to share the Gospel with thousands of Hindu and Muslim people, just as Ajay experienced four years ago!

Christmas in Mumbai

Monday night was another exceptional example of the broad range of evangelism and christmas party types that are coming to the surface this year here in India

Here in Mumbai, a group of five prominent and sucessfull Christmas businessmen had been looking for a way to evangelize to the business community and the colleagues around them. To them, the idea of a fun and inviting party was a great idea!

IMG_3803

We gathered together in style at the five-star Tunga Hotel here in New-Mumbai with a full program of events for the businessmen and their families to enjoy. IMG_3825A band from a local church came to preform throughout the evening as well as a group of 30 children who had arranged a great Christmas-Story Play and dance number to tell the christmas story. An amazing side-note is that 90% of these children were not believers, yet they were sharing (and learning) the gospel message themselves! Along with this there were MCs directing the evening and teaching about christmas as the evening progressed and introducing great speakers like our own Norm Wretlind, a businessman named Paul Murugan who shared his testimony, and a local pastor who shared the whole Gospel message towards the end of the night. Most of the evening was conducted in English except for Mr. Murgan’s testimony, which was in Hindi.

IMG_3799

One great story that we found over the dinner that was served after the program was over was that of a man named Abhay Sharma, from Nepal. Abhay shared that one of the men who attended was a coworker who he had been praying about for some time now. When Abhay was invited to the program, he immediately knew that this would be a great opportunity to bring his friend and share the gospel and evangelize! He did not speak any english, but Abhay helped translate some and they both still enjoyed much of the evening.

IMG_3729

After Mr. Murugan’s testimony in Hindi instead of English, Abhay’s friend said “for the man to speak in Hindi was like God was here and this was a sign to me.” He has since been asking questions and wanting to know more about Christ!

We are continuing to hear more accounts of those who are seeking and curious about what they heard on Monday night. Vicas Rao, one of the planning businessmen had invited three couples from his office is now holding another party at his home on the 24th with the rest of the couples at his office because of the extremely positive response by the three that came on monday!

IMG_3769

Those who were organizing this party have been so overwhelmed by the positive response by their coworkers, that they are becoming more and more bold in talking to and sharing with the other people that they work with!

Dr. Verghes Thomas

Pastor, Leader, Bible Smuggler.

“He is like the ‘James Bond’ of Evangelism”

~Norm Wretlind

IMG_3549

I am not quite sure where to start on Verghes, he is one of those people who you have to meet to really get a sense for his drive and passion in relation to the Gospel message and reaching the Unreached! Dr. Thomas was our host while we were in New Delhi the past few days, driving us from place to place and introducing us to people who have been involved with NeighborHope and the other local churches in the area. We were staying at a small “Inn” near his home called Deep House. The first thing he said when walking around the 16 bedroom, 3-story building was “I hope to have a place like this to host and minister to everyone in our home!”

Dr. Thomas is always on the move, always mentoring, teaching and acting as a leader or board member for various organizations, schools and churches in five of India’s northern states! Something of a revolutionary, Verghes grew up in India and in his early twenties was working as a missionary to Nepal and Tibet smuggling bibles into the closed countries by backpacking through the mountains across the borders. He has been all over India and still has the same spirit he had back then!  Im not sure if he could be involved with more here in New Delhi but as he drove us to the airport at 4:00  am this morning, he was explaining why he was doing so much.

“I don’t ever want to have any free time, because if i do i am not using all of my time to spread the Gospel and minister to people. I am not spending my time for God!”

If this doesn’t sum up the man, i dont know what does! He runs a Christian school here in Noida (the same school our friend Raju is studying at!) as well as serves as a mentor and senior pastor of more churches than i could count.

IMG_3602

Always traveling around to encourage and mentor the pastors and help where he is needed. In our three days with him, we visited 5 churches, three schools and two orphanages that he either is directly in charge of or helps coordinate the majority of their activity, not to mention being one of the state directors for NeighborHope and organizing hundreds of christmas parties over the next few weeks! He sports a unmistakable red van with “Mission to the Unreached” written across the front and “Jesus said ‘I will not leave you orphans’” across the back in large yellow type!

IMG_3566We spent much of our time talking about the future of the church in India and how to minister and evangelize to the Hindu people here. He gave Norm his opinion and advice on more topics than i could count, but constantly was asking both of us our ideas and thoughts. I fell as i have been a part of a constant giant brainstorming session for how to reach this part of the country for the Gospel message! Dr. Thomas is truly an inspiration and working hard to serve the Lord with every ounce of his being. Keep him in your prayers and keep an eye on this area of India because i am certain that he is being used to do amazing things for the sake of the gospel!

A Reason to Celebrate!

IMG_3571Today was packed with excitement and great conversations with people, we have many reasons to celebrate! I am finding it very difficult to keep the writing up-to-date with how many places we are going and things we are experiencing! So this will be brief tonight since we leave for Mumbai at 4:00 in the morning tomorrow and it is already 10:30pm…

This morning we attended a church service/christmas party in a small local church in New Delhi! After an introduction from both Norm and myself, Dr. Thomas gave a wonderful sermon that was very fun to listen to. I only wish i had the slightest idea what he was preaching about…! I am guessing Christmas and the birth of Jesus since that is the theme around here these days!  The children put on a christmas play for the church and afterwords we stayed for lunch with everyone!

IMG_3583

We spent most of the afternoon there eating lunch with the church and talking about all of the christmas parties they are planning for the next week, then we headed back to Noida (about a 45 minute drive) to get everything set for our Christmas party that we had this evening!

IMG_3629We headed out to the New Life Victory School which is a little bit outside of Noida in the middle of a newer part of the city where neighborhoods are still being built. The School’s principle invited about 80 people from the neighborhood as well as the entire staff of the school to come to their christmas party tonight. It was an interesting experience to be a part of tonight, especially since yet again, i was almost clueless as to what was being said, but it gave me the opportunity to observe the people and their reactions to the gospel message that was being preached! There were times where people were even listening from outside the building not wanting to come in, just looking in the windows and listening to what was being said!

IMG_3642

At the end of the night Dr. Thomas invited people to accept Christ and talk more with him if they wished. There were seven people who came to him and said that they had accepted Christ as their Savior!! They wanted to know more and wanted to have someone to teach them more as well as start coming to the church that was in their neighborhood! It was a great answer to prayer and an amazing thing to see how the Gospel is being spread here.

IMG_3649

Thank you all for your prayers and support while we are traveling here. Continue to pray for the success of the Christmas parties here as well as the future growth of all that come to know the Lord here in India. This is truly a Reason to Celebrate!

Saturday, December 18th

IMG_3460Wow!  It has been a busy day driving all over the city (and a good way outside it) as we begin to get a feel for the church here in Delhi. Norm and I have been spending a lot of time with Dr. Thomas (more on him later!) the last two days at the christian school that he runs here in Noida, a town on the south-eastern side of New Delhi. We have been meeting with local pastors and church leaders here to talk to them about the impact that NeighborHope and the idea of evangelistic christmas parties has had on the growth of the church in India over the past ten years.

I have also met so many people working in other schools, churches, and orphanages who are all working together to prepare for their upcoming Christmas parties that start tomorrow and will be held over the next two weeks! Our first party will be tomorrow and i am so excited to update everyone on the party and what they are like! This particular one is being hosted by our friend Raju, which you met a few posts back, and the church family that he pastors. “We are expecting over 200 people to attend the party tomorrow night, and praying that 200 people come to know the Lord”, Raju says! You can get a great feel for the excitement that is building in anticipation for the opportunities that the Lord is creating here through these christmas parties.

IMG_3286This afternoon we visited an orphanage for young boys and in the school that Dr. Thomas and his wife help support in one of the Slums that is only ten minutes from their house. The Slum school offers christian education and food to the children and their goal this year is to invite the parents and have the children sing Christmas songs. It is just another way that the idea of using Christmas parties to spread the gospel is taking hold here in India!

Finally this evening we had the opportunity to visit a new church that is being built out in a new neighborhood outside of town. They are quickly trying to finish the building so that they can hold their first church service with the 6 families of believers who live in this brand new neighborhood (most houses aren’t even built yet!) on Christmas Day!

IMG_3486

Dr. Thomas explained the vision of this new building and how they were trusting the Lord to bring families to a place where they could gather, and they are excited to invite the rest of the neighbors in the new neighborhood to the brand new church next week!

Tomorrow we get started with the Christmas parties, and i am excited to begin to update everyone on the progress of those. Please be praying that the Lord moves in many people’s lives tomorrow night!

Christmas Parties Spread!

Great article published in an Indian Newspaper! Written by Dr. Thomas who is heavily involved in NeighborHope here in New Delhi and in 4 other states around Northern India!

IMG_3334Enthusiastically! invites Pastors, evangelists and key lay leaders with their wives to attend a unique LIFESTYLE EVANGELISM SEMINAR with a  fresh strategic concept for all India.

Evangelistic Neighborhood Christmas Parties!

The foundation for all growing evangelism efforts is Christians actively obeying Christ’s command to “Love your Neighbor as yourself”. knowing that “There is no impact with out contact”.

NeighborHope Ministries has specialized in equipping Christians aroud the world to make “redemptive contacts” with their non-christian friends in “neighborly” and inoffensive ways. Their ministry has grown out of amazing responses to the gospel by neighbors throughout the USA, and has expanded to Germany, Russia, South America, Nigeria…. and now India!

NeighborHope Ministries International is a non-profit work dedicated to training, encouraging and mobilizing Christians to love their neighbors by sharing the gospel, praying for them and caring for their needs. The ministry has equipped thousands of Christians to do this using the tool of evangelistic Christmas parties. This uinque strategy has caought fire, especially in India, opening the dorrs that once seemed completly closed to the Gospel.

The unique strategy God has refined over the last 35 years is to incorporate the celebrating of Christian holidays, National holidays and other festivals with non-believers in fun, entertaining and non threatening ways. the Evangelistic Neighborhood Christmas Party may be today’s most natural and effective way to build relationships with neighbors and share with them the hope there is in Christ. Christmas parties world-wide have always been successful. Everyone loves being at a party! If anyone would like to organize one day seminar, or would like to know more information about the ministry please inform NHI team and we will come share with you.

Meet Raju

Student. Leader. Pastor. Age 24.

IMG_3157

IMG_3126

This morning we interviewed this young man and we were both so encouraged by his story and the work that the Lord is doing in his life!

On December 17th, 2006 Raju’s sister, at the time a very new Believer, invited Raju to a neighborhood christmas party. She was so excited about her Faith and wanted Raju to experience the Love of Christ as she did. As the evening went on, Raju came to understand the saving grace that Christ Jesus offered and came into a relationship with the Lord!

This was a huge step for a Hindu, having to reject the religion he was born and raised into, as well as the thousands of Gods he had always believed in!

Raju was captivated by the amazing power of the Holy Spirit and the simplicity of the Gospel message which he learned of through his sister and other friends who hosted the neighborhood party four years ago.

Today Raju is a second-year bible student and an associate pastor in a small church Noida, just outside New Delhi. He teaches and shares the Gospel to his church and this year he is so excited to host a christmas party this coming monday (december 20th) in order to share the Gospel message with his friends and neighbors.

Raju’s party has over 200 people expecting to attend, many who have never heard the Gospel message!

IMG_3185

I have already had the opportunity to talk to almost a dozen people today about the influence that NeighborHope has had in sharing the Gospel here in India.

Throughout the next two weeks i am excited to share as many of these stories as i can with all of you so that you may be encouraged to support this great movement! Your prayers for people like Raju who are trusting the lord to use them as a tool in spreading the Gospel message throughout this country!

ChristmasHope: India

India MapThis year nearly 2.5 Million people across the country of India will hear the Gospel message of Christ! In homes, churches, city centers, playgrounds, maybe even a hilltop out in the country (i’m really hoping for the last one!). Woodcreek Church has a great opportunity of partner with NeighborHope Ministries and our longtime Missionary Norm Wretlind this year as the Gospel message is shared!

How is all this happening?

Through Christmas parties! Just like the beginnings of Woodcreek (RBF) church in the 1970s, small churches are staring all over India through a simple idea. Invite your friends and neighbors to your home for a Christmas party, and share the Gospel with them. From there, as people come to know the Lord, mentor and disciple them forming small communities of believers; living, eating, praying and providing for each other in community and fellowship! This is the movement going on within almost every part of India today.

I find it amazing that as i have been reading and studying the Acts of the Apostles in our bible study ( @woodcreek20s ) through the fall, that the Lord would be showing me again what it looks like to spread the Gospel in such a simple and enthusiastic way. And when Norm asked me to come use my gifts and passion of photography to tell this story, i knew that the prospect of spending Christmas somewhere in India away from my family and friends was going to be a bit different, but i couldn’t pass up the chance to document the amazing work that the Lord is doing within HIS church! And an amazing realization will be that i WILL BE WITH FAMILY when i am in India. I will have the opportunity to meet and worship with new brothers and sisters in Christ and celebrate our Savior together with them. What an opportunity!

So as we get closer to that time, i invite you to come along with me. This will be the place in which i post photos, stories and possibly some video to keep you up to speed on the trip and the awakening that the Lord is creating.

Here is what i need from you!

Check back here regularly!

I want people to find this to be a place of encouragement, awareness and even discussion! Ask questions and we will do our best to get back to you asap!

Follow us on Twitter: @ClintonBrewer & @NeighborHope

I will be tweeting as much as i can whenever i get spots of internet access throughout the country. There will be many times where i won’t have time for a full blog post, but i will be sharing stories and photos on the fly as much as i can!

Share this blog with friends and family!

We want to share the stories of everyone that we meet over there with you and everyone else that we can. I find it so amazing that we live in an age where we can share information so quickly and easily, lets use our technology well to raise awareness (and support?!) for the work of the Gospel.

Check out www.neighborhope.com & www.vision50000.org

These are both great websites that will give you much more information as to the long-term goals as well as the history of NeighborHope Ministries!

Support the ChristmasHope campaign financially.

There are a lot of expenses that go into training church leaders and facilitating the parties that are vital to allowing the people in India to be fully prepared in their mission this year.  Pray about giving in order to help support the neighborhood parties that will spread the gospel message to nearly 2.5 million people this year!

PRAY!

This is the most important thing. As you become more aware of the amazing things going on in India and the actual people that we are meeting, be praying for them. Pray for the success of the christmas parties, for the future discipleship of those who come to know the Lord!

Whats coming Next?

On wednesday i will leave to spend the next fifteen days with our brother and Missionary Norm Wretlind.  Norm has asked me to come to India to help document the amazing uprising of the Gospel message throughout the entire country of India and to tell the stories of many of the new believers who have come to know the Lord over the past few years. I will travel from Dallas to London and then on to New Delhi where we will begin the storytelling.

Give December 5 through Christmas Eve

Join us in our primary Christmas fundraiser as we help change lives through evangelistic Christmas parties in India. Christmas Party Evangelistic Events have proven to be very effective in bringing people into are relationship with Jesus. Woodcreek church had it’s beginning in just such a party! You and your family and friends can provide for a neighborhood party to take place in India with just a few dollars. This year’s effort will bring about literally thousands of Christmas parties and it is not unusual for two or more people to come to faith at each party.

Donate online through Paypal or bring your gifts to Woodcreek any time during business hours. There is a special drop box in the Atrium.
